check a couple of months ago i bought a 200gigs Internal HD.
I splitted the disk into three components....(its the SLAVE)

H) pics
I)Music
J) Porn
everything was goimg well untill yesterday...i was surfing the net. downloading some music and in the process of watching a Stream......

and then it hit......i got a blue screen saying that ide have to reboot my PC so i did....the next thing you know i was not able to see the three disks as listed above... i tried everything....

The funny thing is that the drive is listed in my 'Device Manager'...see pic:

and also in my Bios.....

so my question is?

Can someone point me into a direction to solve this problem??

you try reseating the cables?
what about booted to a dos prompt, and browsing to those drives that you don't see?

I really wouldn't reformat the drive, I'd try everything first.
You have another PC? Try installing the hard drive there.

ok....u see the drive in the device manager, but u can physically access the drive.....this has happened to me before also......go into START>Programs>Administrative Tools> Computer Management....now once in the computer management utility u should see a tab on the left that reads Storage. Click on the little "+" sign to open up the sub menu....once the sub menu is open u should see Disk Management.....tell me which file system u are using? and what type your hard drive is

its not the cables...the problem is not hardware based....its a windows "glitch" sort to speak
