Thats what I hate about Microsoft. They put out trash (Operating systems, game consoles) and fix it on the fly. Maybe its brilliant I dont know but I personally dont like that approach. 10 billion patches a week.

I don't hate the system at all. I just think that the PLAYERS who own the PS3 just dislike Xbox. Most don't even own the system but yet have ill will towards the system. Yet, if you point out something negative about anything Sony does, it's like it goes right over their heads, ignore it, or make up some excuse. As an xbox user, i'm not even happy with the RROD (even tho i never got it) I tell half the people to get an xbox, and half to get a PS3. Some people i know have gotten the RROD, some i know haven't. Like i said, as a use, i can admit there flaws. Why? Cuz i'm a gamer. I would like to see BOTH systems successful. Rather than hate the system, why not hope it does better. I'm hoping PS3 does better, cuz i like the competition between companies. In all honesty, if i didn't have a system right now, i would be leaning towards a PS3. But this hate is unbearable.

I don't hate the system. I hate what the company used it for and how the company views its consumers. It's the same problem with EA. But this thread is about the system so I won't rant that here.

I don't hate the PS3. I just think that after the 3 extra years of anticipation and the 2-3 years since it's been out, it still remains a great IDEA.

I can tell you this, there's also a lot more RPGs on 360 then there is on PS3. I know a lot of heads that switched over from PS2 to 360 just cuz of that. They aren't BIG NAME titles, but a few that some liked that you prolly never heard of or cared for...

for me it is simple math. All of my friends own 360's and a few have a wii. I'm the only one in my circle that has a ps3. So when it comes to gaming multiplayer type stuff my ps3 collects dust because gaming with a bunch of strangers online who don't have mics and don't cooperate for shit sucks. The 360 avatar thing is pretty gay to look at, but I must say that ps3 home was a huge disappointment thus far for me. That shit is boring and seems to lack any sort of purpose.

Guess that is my major gripe about the system. It is powerful and very capable, but when it comes down to it it suffers from the same problem as the PSP. All the power in the world but lacking support and direction.

Man, i love the PSP. Shit is, they aint developing any GOOD games for the shit. There have been like maybe FIVE good games for it. saiyanknight asked me to give him good 360 games. All of them have good reviews, some are personal favs, and i some of them are on the PS3, but the 360 version's sell more. Tell a regular consumer/gamer that you go from something like the PS2, which plays games, some DVDs, maybe get online and play online. Most people had a DVD player already, so it didn't matter. The next system that comes out Has Blu Ray (everyone has just accepted DVDs as a standard formaat and are COMFORTABLE with that) You can have surf online (people have laptops and PCs to do that already, like i said, its extra shit) Have a hard drive to store music (MP3 players are VERY popular, or already have a home system).

See? All that shit is NICE, but if the consumer doesn't need it, why should they buy it. People still have HDTVs and still connect them with COMPOSITE cables.
